Description:
We find ourselves on a train (of sorts). An elusive woman pits two men against each other in a courting cockfight. The first man is a deadly killer, with hints of spinelessness. The second is a humble defrocked priest, with subtle powers of persuasion. The clackity-clack of the rails provides a backbeat to this absurd journey, which veers off into expressionistic pockets of pure ego, song and dance (naturally). Testosterone ricochets around in a tiny square of space, trapping everyone in a highly physical pressure cooker of sexual tension. Add into the mix a mysterious porter who keeps delivering props to these damaged souls, and you've got a brand of theater that only Hangdog Theater can produce.
